Fleet Events in June
Here are the occasions attended by Maine Windjammers this June.
Schooner Gam Week of June 18
A gathering of the Maine Schooners at anchor with a fleet raft-up.
Windjammer Days in Boothbay Harbor Week of June 25
A town wide celebration in Boothbay featuring a sail parade and fireworks. Large sailing ships from elsewhere sometimes participate. Some in the Maine Fleet do not attend this event. It requires some offshore sailing, often to windward for a significant stretch.

Windjammer Reminders
Sure, you could scroll back through hundreds of posts to find basic info and opinions on the upcoming Maine Windjammer season; Why Bother? Starting tomorrow I will begin a full court press (NCAA Tournament Jargon) on everything I can possibly think is of interest for sailing this summer.
First up will be the next installment of Windjammer vs. Windjammer.

Ice Age
Due to massive ice accumulation this blogger has temporarily slowed his posting frequency. Meanwhile, take a look at this photo of Stephen Taber as she sails past an ultra modern trimaran and out of Rockland Harbor on July 2nd of last year.. Isn't that nice?
